1 package (6 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate morsels
3 tablespoons butter
1/2 cup milk
1/2 cup water
1 tablespoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup sifted powdered sugar
1 teaspoon salt
Directions - Chocolate Crepes Recipe:
Melt chocolate and butter together over very low heat. Remove from heat and cool slightly.
Hand-Blend Recipe Directions: Sift together flour, sugar and salt. In a separate bowl, combine eggs, milk, water, vanilla and chocolate mixture. Beat until combined. Next, add sifted dry ingredients. Finally, beat batter until completely smooth. Refrigerate 1 hour before making crepes.
Blender Recipe Directions: Combine all ingredients in blender. Blend about 1 minute. Scrape down sides of blender with a rubber spatula. Blend again until smooth, about 10 additional seconds. Refrigerate batter 1 hour before making chocolate crepe recipe.
Recipe yields about 3 1/2 cups batter.
