Quick Drop Biscuit Recipe



Drop Biscuits are super simple. You don't have to knead, shape, or cut out your dough. These tasty biscuits are made up, then simply spoon-dropped onto baking sheets!

Ingredients:

2 cups all-purpose flour
2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 cup milk 

Directions:

Position rack in the center of the oven. Preheat the oven to 450 degrees. Lightly grease a large baking sheet and set aside.

In a large bowl whisk together flours, baking powder, and salt. Add milk all at once. Stir until dry ingredients are well moistened. The batter should be moist and sticky, but not smooth.

Use a teaspoon to form heaping scoops of batter. Use another spoon to scrape the batter onto the baking sheet. Space the biscuits about 1 1/2" apart.

Bake in oven until biscuit bottoms are golden brown, about 12 minutes. Serve these great drop biscuits hot.
